The Photos app on iPhone allows us to easily trim video clips to get rid of those unwanted parts from our videos. It however doesn’t provide the video merging tool to help us join two or more video clips on iPhone. In this article, we’ll show you how to merge or combine two or more videos into one video using iMovie on iPhone without any third-party video editors or apps.
Introducing iMovie
iMovie is a free video editing application made by Apple for Mac, iPhone, and iPad. It includes a range of video effects and tools. iMovie is designed with beginners in mind. Very easy to use even for those with little or no video editing experience.
How to combine multiple video clips on iPhone using iMovie?
iMovie is one of the pre-installed app on iPhone. You can use it to merge videos together without downloading any third-party apps. If you don’t have iMovie app on your iPhone, you can download it from the App Store for free.

Tap to select all videos you want to combine, then tap Create Movie at the bottom of the screen.

All imported video clips will be displayed in thumbnails at the timeline at the bottom of iMovie app. You can drag and drop them in the timeline to re-order them. Tap on the transition icon between two video clips to pick a transition style of your choice. You can find plenty of beautiful transitions. You can also tap on a video clip to split, trim or delete.

Once you’re done, tap Done in the top left corner of the app screen. You will then have the option to save and share the new video. Tap the Share button(up arrow in an open square icon). Optionally tap Options to choose a resolution, 360p, 540p, 720p or 1080p.
