There are two easy ways to connect your iPhone to Android and share files between them: Wi-Fi and hotspot.
Connect iPhone and Android via Wi-Fi
Connect both mobile phones to the same Wi-Fi network. Run Zapya app on both your iOS and Android devices. On your iPhone, tap on the the Transfer button at the bottom middle on its home screen to open the Radar search and connection screen where Zapya on your iPhone will search all available devices in the same network. Wait for it to find your Android phone, then tap on your Android device name to connect them. Once both phones are connected, you should see the avatars and phone names at the top left corner on both your iPhone and Android mobile.

Or you can run Zapya on Android, tap on the Transfer button at the bottom, then select Join Group. Zapya will then automatically detect other phones connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Simply tap on the other phone name to connect.

Connect iPhone and Android via hotspot
When Wi-Fi is not available, you can enable hotspot on Android phone, connect iPhone to the hotspot. You can then launch Zapya file sharing on them to send files.
Run Zapya app on Android mobile, tap on the Transfer button at the bottom middle to open the Connect to Share screen.

Tap on Create Group, you will then see the QR code and the Group name and password above it. If you are running Android 7.1 or above, Zapya can’t can’t enable WiFi hotspot automatically and you will see a prompt message asking you to manually turn it on. Tap on the link which is titled ‘Go to System Settings to enable Personal Hotspot‘ at the bottom of the pop-up dialog. You will be taken to the Wi-Fi hotspot screen, simply touch the ON/OFF toggle besides Hotspot to enable it on your Android phone. Don’t change other hotspot settings here, otherwise the connection may fail. If you see an alert about other devices can connect to your WiFi hotspot to use your mobile data, your battery may run out quickly, tap the Turn On button to confirm. You will then see the QR code and the Group name and password if any above it.
On your iPhone, open Settings, Wi-Fi, connect your iPhone to the Android hotspot. Run Zapya on iPhone, you will then find the iPhone and Android device are connected automatically.
Transfer files between iPhone and Android via WiFi or Hotspot
To transfer files from iPhone to Android or Android to iPhone is very easy and straightforward once they are connected via Wifi or hotspot. Switch to the Files tab, browse to the Photo, Video, Audio, Music, Contact, File categories on your iPhone or Android, then select the files and send them to the other device.
