The tree structure or tree chart is usually used to present the hierarchical nature of a structure in a graphical form. For example, a family tree shows the names and relationships of all ancestors and relatives. With XMind, you can easily create a professional-looking tree chart on iPhone, iPad and Mac. View the pre-made example, and open the template to start your designing. You can add tree branches by a single tap; easily customize details like fonts, colors, shapes, etc. Want to create your own tree chart on iPhone? Follow the quick steps outlined below.
First of all, go to download XMind from App Store. It comes with both free and paid versions. You can use the free version to create a basic tree chart easily without any fee.
Choose Tree Chart template
Run the diagram maker app on your iPhone. Tap the plus sign on the top right of the screen to open the Templates page, select a Tree Chart template to start your organization chart design.

Create & edit tree chat
Tap on a branch to show the context menu, there are quick buttons help you customize the chart in the easiest way. You can edit the text, apply a quick style, delete an element, copy style, copy, paste and duplicate element.

Create new branches:
Tap on an existing tree branch, you will see two buttons at the bottom right corner to create new sub-branches.
Choose style & structure:
Tap on the Brush icon at the top right section to bring up the Style & Sheet menu at the lower section of your screen. Here you can customize tree branch structure, fill color, change structure style, shape, border color, border width, branch color, branch shape, branch width, text font, text color, font size, etc.

More advanced features
Touch the + (Plus) icon at the top right corner to see more advanced features(some of them are available only with the premium version).

- Add stickers, photos;
- Audio note;
- Add relationship, boundary, summary;
- Add marker, label, note, hyper links, attachment, etc.
Save and export Tree Chart
In the compose screen, tap the Back icon at the top left corner of the screen to return to the XMind Recents page and your project will be saved automatically.
If you have finished your tree chart diagram design, tap the More menu(three dots) at the top right corner, then choose Print to print it out to paper, or choose Share to save it as PNG or PDF file on your iPhone iPad.
