You can batch delete multiple contacts at the same time in the Contacts app. Open the Contacts app on your iPhone. Use two fingers to swipe up or down to select two or more adjacent name cards in the list. If you need to select and delete several inconsecutive name cards, just tap with two fingers to select all of them one by one.
Once you have selected all name cards you like to get rid of, use just one finger to long press on one of them, a contextual menu pops up, you will have the option to remove all selected contacts in batch. You can select as many contacts as you like, then hit the Delete Contacts button to remove all selected contacts from iPhone. This is the easiest way to delete multiple contacts on iPhone.

Part 2. How to delete all contacts from iPhone at once?
Want to quickly delete all contacts on iPhone? If you are searching for a free app to quickly remove all contacts from iPhone or iPad in just one go, we suggest you the MCbackup app. It comes with both free and pro versions. To batch delete contacts on iPhone, you can just use its free version.

hi, so to be clear, i can spend time cleaning my contacts with this app but it doesn’t sync to my laptop contacts? the whole point is to clean up my contacts on both all platforms.
this is a iphone app. it can help users delete multiple contacts on iPhone quickly. you do not need to use a laptop or iTunes in order to delete contacts on iphone.
what kind of contacts on laptop do you want to clear?
You are not understanding my question. If this app does not sync contacts to the laptop, spending time deleting contacts on your phone is a waste of time. The whole point of deleting contacts on your iphone is so it syncs to the contacts on your laptop and the contacts on your laptop get cleaned up as well – because iphone and macs have contacts synced. Otherwise, you’ve only cleaned your contacts on one device. Sounds like this app is not a good app to delete contacts because it only deletes them on your phone and doesn’t sync to your computer.
Hi I’ve tried using the app, but it keeps asking me to create an account. I’ve tried to do this but it stalls at the point of sending a verification text. Can you assist?
Thanks!
the developer of this free app wants users to sign up an account so you get the prompt to sign up and log in using your account. in the current version, you can choose the ‘skip now’ option to continue using it to manage contacts on iPhone without subscription or any account. however the developer may force users to sign up before they can use it in future upgrades. If you do not like the above app, you can also find more methods to delete multiple or all contacts from iPhone here.
Deleted the contacts on the app itself but not on my actual iPhone contacts. That’s the only reason I wanted it in the first place is to clean up my iCloud memory.
