By default your iPhone or iPad will only let you delete contacts one by one. If you want to delete certain or a few contacts or phone numbers on iPhone, it is no big deal. How to batch delete multiple contacts from iPhone?
Currently you need to download an iOS app on to your iPhone or iPad in order to delete a lot of contacts quickly. We recommend WeSync! app for iOS. You can get it now on Apple App Store for FREE. It is developed by Tencent the same company who also made WeChat, QQ and many other useful apps.
Run WeSync app on iPhone, you will get a screen like below. It prompts you to log in once you launch the app. However you do not need to sign in or create an account if you just like to use it to delete contacts on iPhone. We are not sure though whether the developer would change this in future upgrades or not.
Tap the menu icon from the top left corner of the WeSync app on iPhone to open its menu page as below.
Choose Organize contacts from above screen, you will open a list of feature within this app to merge duplicated contacts on iPhone, share and transfer iPhone contacts, sort contacts on iPhone and deleted contacts on iPhone. See below screenshot.
Select Delete Contacts from above screen, you will then be taken to a screen like this.
