    1. Definitely does record audio while doing a screen recording, like if you want to narrate what you are doing on the phone as a tutorial. however, can’t seem to do it when using microphone for a call, so technically it doesn’t seem to record audio during FaceTime call, just video.

      1. So ridiculous–why would anyone want the FaceTime recorded without the audio?? I just Facetimed with my mom in a nursing home and wanted to record it and hear her voice so I could send to my brother–but of course the voices did not record! So frustrating!

        1. It records audio. Probably the reason yours didn’t is that your microphone is off. Swipe up the screen, hold the screen recording icon, then turn on your ,microphone. This should solve your problem.

          1. Have you gotten it to record audio during a FaceTime call? I have the microphone on but it will not record audio during a FaceTime call.

          2. I can also confirm it DOES NOT record audio during video calls (only before or after video calls), even if you long press the record button and turn on the mic, it will never record audio during video calls. Not with whatsapp, not with Facetime.
