Adobe Scan is a great PDF scanner app for iPhone iPad. You can use it to scan and send documents using your iOS device anywhere anytime. It is free, powerful and user-friendly. In an earlier article, we discussed how to scan PDF documents to iPhone using Adobe Scan. Today, we will talk about how you can send and share scanned PDF documents from Adobe Scan on iPhone iPad?
Scanning documents using this PDF app is just like snapping pictures. Very intuitive and fast. All PDF files will be saved to the All Scans tab on your iPhone and a copy of them will be uploaded to your account with Adobe Document Cloud.
Send and share scanned PDF doc
Open the Adobe Scan, go to the All Scan tab, you can view all your scans as grid. At the bottom right corner of each PDF thumbnail, there is a three dots icon. Tap on it to bring up the action menu. See below screenshot.
From the action menu at the bottom section, you can find options to attach PDF to email, create a link to share the PDF file, or share file via other apps installed on your iPhone iPad.
Alternatively you can open a scanned PDF in Adobe Scan, tap Share icon at the bottom left corner to access the file share options via link, email or other compatible apps on your iPhone iPad.
I recommend email to anyone needs the convenience and flexibility to send documents. You can send the scanned file to yourself through email, or send it to anyone with an email address.
You can also make use of the share file function to transfer the scanned PDF files to people through messages, WhatsApp, WeChat, Shareit, or other instant messengers or file transfer apps installed on your phone.
If you have Acrobat on your desktop, you can sign in to the same Adobe account to access the scanned documents in Adobe Scan on iPhone.
Since all your scanned documents using Adobe Scan will be uploaded to your Adobe Document Cloud account automatically. You can access your files using a web browser from any device or location.
Batch file process
Currently batch file process on iPhone iPad is not supported. For instance, you can’t select a group of files, send, email or delete them in a batch mode. The batch operations are accessible with your Adobe Document Cloud account via the web interface.
