The stock Mail app on iPhone allows us to view and manage all our email accounts in one place. In this guide, we will walk you through the steps to add AOL account to the Mail on iPhone.
Go into Settings, access the Accounts & Passwords.
You will see a list of all existing email accounts, tap on Add Account at the bottom of this list to start adding new email account to iPhone.
A menu of various email service providers or account types shows up from which you can find iCloud, Exchange, Google, Yahoo, AOL, Outlook, etc. Select AOL to proceed.
In the Name field, type your name; in the Email field, type in your AOL email address; and then your mail password, account description. At the top right corner, tap Next to continue. The iPhone communicates with the AOL mail server to set up your account. After the verification of your credentials, you will have the option to choose items to sync.
You can enable mail and notes, then tap the Save button to complete. After that your email appears in the inbox for the AOL account in the Mail app on iPhone.
