Want to setup your Hotmail account on iPad? Some users may have trouble adding their Hotmail email to iPad as there is no Hotmail option found during the configuration process. When you go to Settings, then Mail section trying to add Hotmail on iPad, you can only find options like iCloud, Microsoft Exchange, Google Mail, Yahoo Mail, AOL Mail. Hotmail is not an option on iPad.

Setup Hotmail Account on iPad
Tap to open Settings on your iPad home screen. Scroll down and tap on Mail, then select Accounts > Add Account.
On this Account Account screen, you will get a list of all email providers, including iCloud, Microsoft Exchange, Google, Yahoo, AOL, Outlook.com and Other. Here you have to choose Outlook.com.
Enter your Hotmail email address and tap Next button, then enter the password for your Hotmail account and tap Sign in.
Your iPad will try to connect to the Hotmail server to verify your account details, and if everything is correct, it will be successfully added.
After the authentication, you can choose which services you want to sync with your iPad, such as Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and Notes.
After that, tap on Save or Done to finish adding your email account to iPad. Open the Mail app on iPad, you can find iPad downloads all your email messages from remote server, and you can start composing and sending emails through Hotmail server on your iPad.

I’ve had Hotmail working fine on my iPad Air for a couple of years. Recently, however, a problem has developed. Say I open the email with the New York Times headline stories. I then open and read one of the stories. No problem so far. But when I try to get back to the original email, it will not reload it. It will show the subject but none of the content. My workaround is to go back to the inbox , open a completely different email, then click on the Times email again and it will open perfectly. This seems to happen with most emails that have multiple links in them. Any idea what’s going on?
