Stream or transfer media files from PC to iPhone using PlayerXtreme

Enable network discovery and file sharing on PC

On your Windows computer, go to Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> Network and Sharing Center. In Windows 10 you can just type “control panel” in to the search field to quickly access the Control Panel.

On the Network and Sharing Center screen, click Change Advanced Sharing Settings link on the left pane. Click to expand the Guest or Public network, click Turn on Network Discovery to enable it, also click the Turn on file and printer sharing under the public network section. Then click Save changes button at the bottom.

Now open the File Explorer in Windows system, you should see the available shared computer and devices on your network.

Stream or copy media files from Windows PC to iPhone

Connect your iPhone to the same Wi-Fi network as your PC. Run PlayerXtreme on iPhone. Switch to the Network tab. Then scroll down to the bottom, you may find PlayerXtreme already detected your PC under the Discovered section. Tap on your computer name from there, then type in your computer login name and password, tap on Save.

Now you can find your PC in the Saved Shares section on the Network screen. Tap to view all shared media files from your PC right on your iPhone. You can directly play or stream audios, music, videos, movies, photos saved on your computer using PlayerXtreme media player without copying them to your iPhone storage.

If you want to save a media file from computer to iPhone so you can watch it on the go, long press on it to bring up the action menu, then choose Download to copy the selected photo, video or music from PC to iPhone.
