Transfer videos & movies from computer to iPhone using Infuse

Infuse is a video player for iOS that can play almost any video format on your iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. For example, it can play standard MP4, M4V, MOV, MKV, AVI, WMV, MTS, ISO, VIDEO_TS, FLV, OGM, OGV, ASF, 3GP, DVR-MS, WebM, WTV, ETC. No need to convert files. Other than local videos, you can stream media files from other devices as well, such as your Mac, PC, NAS, Wi-Fi hard drive, UPnP/DLNA apps, cloud services like Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive. Today, we will show you how to transfer videos movies from computer to iPhone using Infuse. You might want to do this if you need to take video files with you so you can access them when you’re away from your computer. Since Infuse has several built-in features to helps us copy files from external storage, we are not able to cover all of them in one article. We will focus on its video file transfer through local browser in this post. You can use a web browser on your Windows PC or Mac to access Infuse on iPhone and copy files from computer to iPhone over Wi-Fi. Very easy and straightforward.

Connect both your computer and iPhone to the same Wi-Fi network at home or in the office. Some public WiFi in hotels, cafes, or restaurants may prevent devices communicating with each other.

Run Infuse app on your iPhone. Switch from Library to the Files tab from the bottom toolbar. Then choose Add Files, you will then find a list of all available options you can add files to Infuse on your iPhone. For example, you can add videos, movies via browser, FTP, iTunes Sync, File Sharing, Network Share, Direct URL, and so on.

Select via Browser from above list to open the Browser screen with the instructions to connect your computer to iPhone and transfer videos over. See below screenshot.

Open a web browser on your PC or Mac, such as Safari, Edge, Firefox, Chrome, etc. Enter the iPhone web transfer address in your desktop web browser. Press Enter or Return on your keyboard, you’ll be prompted to log in. Use the credentials displayed in the Infuse app to log in. After that you can use the Add button or drag & drop videos into the browser window to send videos files, movies from your Mac or Windows computer to iPhone.
